(European Regulation on Privacy, 679/2016)
Privacy
This Privacy Notice (defined in the information as "Privacy Policy") is provided, also pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR"), to those (defined in the information as "Users") who connect to this website (the "Site") owned by the Data Controller whose data are reported in point 7 of the information. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to describe the processing of personal data of users who connect to the Site and/or who use the features and services made accessible through the Site itself (for example, by way of example, participation in competitions and initiatives, receipt of commercial and advertising communications, etc.). The information concerns only this Site and not other websites that may be reached by Users via links found on the Site itself. Users are invited to carefully read the Privacy Policy before providing any type of personal information and/or filling in any form on the Site that requires the insertion of personal data.
1. TYPE OF DATA PROCESSED
The Owner of the Site may collect some data such as anonymous and aggregate information during navigation of the Site, name, surname, residence, gender, place and date of birth, User ID, password, email addresses, photos and/or other personal data voluntarily provided by users through registration to communities, bulletin boards, forums, newsletters, by sending messages and/or emails, when participating in competitions and/or initiatives forwarded by the user through the Site. The Site is accessible to users without the obligation for them to provide their personal data. However, some parts of the Site are accessible only to registered users and therefore have provided the data necessary for registration.
1.1 Navigation data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Site automatically acquire, during operation, some information from the browser used which is then implicitly transmitted in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information could by its nature, through associations and processing with data held by third parties, allow the user's browser to be identified (e.g. IP address, domain names of computers used by users/visitors who connect to the site) and which can be used by the Site to obtain anonymous and aggregate statistical information on the use of the Site and to check the correct functioning of the Site itself.
1.2 Personal data provided by users
To access some services of the Site (subscription to the newsletter, access to the forum, participation in competitions or other initiatives), Users may be asked to voluntarily enter some personal data through registration forms (or in other ways).
1.3 Cookies
The Site uses cookies. For more information on cookies, Users are invited to carefully read the specific Cookie Policy.
2. PURPOSE OF THE PROCESSING
The personal data of the Users of the Site will be processed exclusively according to the purposes and methods described in this Privacy Policy and in compliance with the applicable provisions of the Privacy Code. The processing of personal data may consist of one or more of the following operations: collection, recording, organization, storage, consultation, processing, modification, selection, extraction, comparison, use, interconnection, communication to third parties, blocking, cancellation and/or destruction of personal data. In accordance with the will expressed by the user, the processing of personal data will be carried out – depending on the case – for one or more of the following purposes: 1. allow navigation through the public web pages of the Site; 2. respond to requests received through the email addresses made available to Users on the Site; 3. obtain anonymous and aggregate statistical information regarding navigation on the Site (e.g. analysis of the most visited pages); 4. obtain anonymous statistical information on the geographical areas of origin of traffic on the Site, on the type of device used, the gender and other statistical data; 5. check the correct functioning of the Site; 6. ascertain any liability in the event of illicit acts committed to the detriment of the Site; 7. register users for some of the Site's services (newsletter, forum, etc.); 8. fulfill the contractual obligations of the requested service; 9. marketing purposes; 10. sending advertising, technical and promotional information via email.
3. METHODS OF TREATMENT
Data processing is carried out using automated tools (e.g. using electronic procedures and media) and/or manually for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data was collected and, in any case, in compliance with the current regulatory provisions in full compliance with the principles of confidentiality, correctness, necessity, relevance, lawfulness and transparency imposed by the Privacy Code. Suitable security measures will be observed to prevent the loss of Users' personal data, illicit or incorrect use of the same. The user's personal data will be stored for the period of time appropriate to the purposes for which they were collected or subsequently processed.
4. MANDATORY OR OPTIONAL NATURE OF DATA PROVISION
The provision by the user of certain data (indicated with an asterisk in the relevant online registration and data compilation form) is necessary – depending on the case – to access some reserved areas of the Site and/or to use some specific services. The provision of data for all other purposes (for example, for marketing purposes or to monitor the use of the Website) is optional and therefore does not prevent access to the Site.
5. SCOPE OF COMMUNICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF DATA
For the pursuit of the processing purposes (indicated in point 2 of this Privacy Policy) and to the extent strictly necessary, the personal data of Users may be disclosed to employees and collaborators by reason of and within the limits of the duties and tasks assigned to them. Furthermore, the personal data of Users may be disclosed to the subjects appointed by the owner who provide the services available on the site (administrators of the IT system, collaborators in the management and processing of the data of the Site, administrative, tax and accounting consultants, marketing consultants), other figures capable of guaranteeing the functioning of the services offered by the Site and the subjects whose right to access the user's personal data is recognized by provisions of law, regulations and/or by community legislation. The user's personal data will not be disclosed.
